Schedule Details

Day 1 (Friday) Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport or Cairo Sphinx international Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Optional activities available subject to arrival time.

Day 2 (Saturday) Cairo

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your guide will escort you to the legendary Giza Plateau, where your adventure begins with an exploration of the Great Pyramids of Giza. You'll also visit the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Following your tour of the pyramids, you'll pause for a delightful lunch before heading to the renowned Egyptian Museum, located in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo. Here, you'll marvel at the incredible collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures.

Day 3 (Sunday) Luxor

This morning, you'll depart Cairo early for a short flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you'll begin your exploration with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temples, the largest temple complex ever built in history. Afterward, you'll continue to the Luxor Museum, where you can admire a remarkable collection of ancient artifacts. After the tour you will be checked into your Cruise ship then lunch will be at your leisure, providing a chance to unwind and relax before our early evening visit to the magnificent Luxor Temple. As dusk settles, the temple takes on a breathtaking beauty, and its intricate details are brilliantly illuminated under the night sky. Following this visit you will return to the cruise ship and enjoy dinner.

Day 4 (Monday) Luxor

Today, you'll journey to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the remarkable Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, home to some of Egypt's most iconic tombs. You'll also visit the majestic Temple of Hatshepsut and stand in awe before the towering Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, we will set sail downstream, continuing your adventure along the Nile.

Day 5 (Tuesday) Komobo - Aswan

Relax as we leisurely sail along the Nile. Later today, we’ll visit the fascinating Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique riverside temple known for its perfectly symmetrical design. Everything, from its twin halls and courts to colonnades, sanctuaries, and entrances, is mirrored along the temple’s main axis. In the late evening, we’ll arrive in Aswan, a vibrant and prosperous town once at the crossroads of ancient caravan routes.

Day 6 (Wednesday) Aswan

After breakfast aboard your cruise ship, embark on a scenic motorboat ride to the beautiful Philae Temple, located on Philae Island. Following this, visit the renowned High Dam, a modern engineering marvel, and explore the unfinished obelisk, offering insights into ancient stone-carving techniques. Afterward, return to the cruise ship to enjoy a delightful lunch. In the afternoon, unwind with a relaxing felucca ride to the peaceful Kitchener Island, where you can take a leisurely walk and soak in the breathtaking views of Aswan, along with the island's lush plant life and serene atmosphere.

Day 7 (Thursday) Abu Simbel & Cairo

Checkout of your cruise ship and transfer to Aswan airport to take an early morning flight to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, one of Egypt's most iconic sites. Here, you'll explore the awe-inspiring rock-cut temples, a true highlight of ancient Egyptian architecture and history. After exploring the temples of Abu Simbel, you'll board a flight to Cairo (with a layover in Aswan). Please note, you may be required to switch aircraft at Aswan Airport. Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Optional activities available subject to arrival time and availability.

Day 8 (Friday) Alexandria

After breakfast at your hotel, we'll embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Alexandria, Egypt's second-largest city, famously founded by Alexander the Great. Known for its rich history and Mediterranean charm, Alexandria offers an exciting day of exploration.

Your first stop will be the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an ancient underground necropolis, followed by a visit to the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria. We'll also explore Pompey's Pillar, a towering Roman triumphal column.

After lunch, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing time.

Day 9 (Saturday) Cairo

After breakfast at your hotel, we'll visit the modern marvel that is the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a tribute to the ancient Library of Alexandria. The day will conclude with a visit to the Alexandria National Museum, where you'll discover an impressive collection of artifacts from Egypt's Greco-Roman, Coptic, and Islamic periods.

In the late afternoon, we'll return to Cairo, wrapping up a memorable day in one of Egypt's most historically significant cities.

Day 10 (Sunday) Cairo

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a journey to explore a different and historic side of Cairo: Old Cairo, rich in cultural and religious heritage. Our first stop will be Coptic Cairo, where you'll visit iconic landmarks such as the Hanging Church, one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, and the Cave Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, believed to be where the Holy Family sought refuge during their flight to Egypt. We’ll also stop at the Ben Ezra Synagogue, a site with a fascinating blend of Jewish and Christian history.

Next, we’ll visit the majestic Citadel of Saladin, a medieval Islamic fortification offering breathtaking views of the city. While here, you’ll tour the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.

After a leisurely lunch (included), we’ll continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), home to the incredible Royal Mummies Hall and an extensive collection of artifacts spanning Egypt's long and storied history.

To round out the day, we'll stroll through the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can shop for traditional souvenirs, spices, and crafts, while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of one of Cairo’s oldest markets.

By late afternoon, we’ll return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest after a day filled with exploration and discovery.
